Rings on Her Fingers

9x12

This is a noncommission portrait that I did recently. I actually did it over the course of
a few days, but it took about 5 hours put together. I used HB, 4B, 7B, and 8B pencils, a mechanical
pencil, kneaded eraser, eraser stick, cloth, and tortillions.

Tom Hiddleston

9x12

I did this portrait just for fun. Since there are alot of really neat
pictures of Tom Hiddleston, I thought it would be fun to try out
one of them.

I used 2B, 4B, 7B, and 8B pencils, a mechanical pencil for any facial hair
and little details, stumps and a cloth for blending, a kneaded eraser and eraser stick.

Princess of Monaco

11x14

This is a portrait of Grace Kelly I did (not as a commission) which I am
very happy with. I did do a timelapse for this portrait, but I didn't get the
very end recorded.  In the portrait I used HB, 2B, 4B, 7B, and 8B pencils, stumps,
a cloth, eraser stick, kneaded eraser, and mechanical pencil.

Enjoy!

Thoughtful

photography credits go to Kristy G. Photography
11x14

This is a portrait I did for an upcoming art show, the Plainfield Library Art show (in Indiana)
open to the public on April 11th and 12th. Here is their site for more details if you're interested:
http://www.plainfieldlibrary.net/3rd-annual-arts-gala-is-elemental//.

Unfortunately the camera I used to take this photo isn't the best quality, so the shading on
the top left corner reflected the light, but it was the best camera available. :)

For this portrait, I used HB, 2B, 4B, and 8B pencils, an eraser stick, kneaded eraser,
fibercloth, and paper stumps (for blending).

Freckles

11x14

This is a portrait I did for an upcoming art show. One thing I really love about the photo
I drew from was that the little girl looks so sweet, and she isn't caked with makeup or posing
unnaturally.

I used HB, 4B, and 8B pencils, stumps, a fibercloth, eraser stick, and kneaded eraser.

Here is the time lapse, enjoy!

Adam and Lindsay + 1st Time Lapse

11x14

This is a commission I did for someone who is giving it to their grandson and his fiance
for their wedding! As you can imagine, I was both nervous and thrilled at the privilege.
They are such a beautiful couple and look very sweet and happy, so it was fun to draw.

I used 2B, 4B, and 8B pencils, stumps, a fibercloth, eraser stick, and kneaded eraser.

Also... I finally remembered to do a time lapse!

I have been wanting to do them for a while, but always remember halfway through the portrait.
It's shockingly fast. The video is three hours condensed into one minute!

Enjoy!
