Thoughtful

photography credits go to Kristy G. Photography
11x14

This is a portrait I did for an upcoming art show, the Plainfield Library Art show (in Indiana)
open to the public on April 11th and 12th. Here is their site for more details if you're interested:
http://www.plainfieldlibrary.net/3rd-annual-arts-gala-is-elemental//.

Unfortunately the camera I used to take this photo isn't the best quality, so the shading on
the top left corner reflected the light, but it was the best camera available. :)

For this portrait, I used HB, 2B, 4B, and 8B pencils, an eraser stick, kneaded eraser,
fibercloth, and paper stumps (for blending).

Freckles

11x14

This is a portrait I did for an upcoming art show. One thing I really love about the photo
I drew from was that the little girl looks so sweet, and she isn't caked with makeup or posing
unnaturally.

I used HB, 4B, and 8B pencils, stumps, a fibercloth, eraser stick, and kneaded eraser.

Here is the time lapse, enjoy!

Adam and Lindsay + 1st Time Lapse

11x14

This is a commission I did for someone who is giving it to their grandson and his fiance
for their wedding! As you can imagine, I was both nervous and thrilled at the privilege.
They are such a beautiful couple and look very sweet and happy, so it was fun to draw.

I used 2B, 4B, and 8B pencils, stumps, a fibercloth, eraser stick, and kneaded eraser.

Also... I finally remembered to do a time lapse!

I have been wanting to do them for a while, but always remember halfway through the portrait.
It's shockingly fast. The video is three hours condensed into one minute!

Enjoy!
